This shawl was done in my rigid heddle loom using pure Merino wool hand spun by myself. Before spinning it, I dyed it using walnut and onion skins. First and second bath gave different shades of brown, and combining that with the onion skins I created a terracota/copper color that really stands out. One part of the yarn was a blend that I made using merino wool and left overs from other pieces that I carded together and then spun. No doubt that this is a very unique creation.
