Our wool is produced in Uruguay from happy sheep that graze in the green pastures of our countryside. It is processed in a sustainable way, using almost entirely renewable energy.
We dye it in San Anselmo, California, in small batches and using color extracted from plants and insects, as well as from "food waste". The colors that we create can sometimes differ from one batch to the next. That's why we recommend getting enough yarn for your project and alternating skeins.
Due to the essence of the dyeing process, and despite being rinsed and washed, our yarn may still have remaining excess dye. Please be mindful of this, especially if your project is multi-colored or if you wash it with other pieces.
